Arena Shoutcasting contest is around the corner since Blizzard has a new contest to crown the best Arena shoutcaster. That is to say, World of Warcraft players who've wanted to test their mettle as a sportscaster will love the latest "Arena Shoutcasting" contest at Blizzard.
But what is the rule of arena shoutcasting? We gather up some rules through our working so as to help all the players online get to know it in depth. Let us get started right now.
Above all, you must hold an eligibility to take part in this contest. No matter what happen, this is the first thing you should do prior to sitting in the contest.
Then, it is better for you to keep the contest period in your mind. It shall commence March 3, 2009 at 12:00 AM PST (8:00 AM BST) (the "Commencement Date"), and shall continue in duration until 11:59 PM PST April 17, 2009 (7:59 PM BST, April 18, 2009) (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize.
According to the price, the first price is that one qualified entrant will be judged to be the winner of the contest, and will receive one (1) Dell UltraSharpTM 3007WFP-HC Monitor, and two (2) BlizzCon 2008 World of Warcraft polar bear mount codes with an approximate retail value of $1,100.00.
And the second price is that three qualified entrants will be judged to be runner-ups of the contest, and will receive one (1) BlizzCon "How Big is your Sack" t-shirt and one (1) BlizzCon 2008 World of Warcraft polar bear mount code with an approximate retail value of $17.00.
But how to collect information is an issue of concern. The entry materials include a survey that requires you to enter your name, e-mail address, and state of residence. By entering the Contest, you consent to Sponsor's use of this information to inform you of open positions with Blizzard, and to associate your name with your submission in promotional materials for the Contest in the event that you are chosen to be a winner.
As stated above, the contest is not open to anyone under the age of majority in your country of citizenship. In the event that Sponsor becomes aware that you are under the age of majority in your country of citizenship Sponsor will delete, erase or destroy any and all personally identifiable information that is obtained from the Entry Materials. In the event that you are a citizen of France and/or any of the other countries whose citizens are eligible for this Contest, and pursuant to French law pertaining to data collection and processing, you are informed that the data collector is Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. what is more, the data collected will be transferred to the United States of America. Upon request, you will be provided with access to your personal data. You have a right of opposition to the data collection, under certain circumstances.
The above-mentioned rules are that the participants want to get the knowledge of them at the first time, but the more detailed rules you can log into some official sites to look for.
In a word, we are proud to present our first World of Warcraft Arena Shoutcasting Contest and looking for the best and brightest to shoutcast an Arena match.
Only do participants need to download an Arena tournament video from the World of Warcraft website, watch the video, and provide us with your best commentary of the match. We'll give all participants a way to upload their shoutcasts so we can determine the champion.
