Solo as Rogue

Are you unwilling to group with people in the World of Warcraft? Do you get tired of being in a group with someone who don't know what they are doing and if you was alone you can get it done faster and on top of that get more XP in the process? So this is for all you solo Rogues out there. We've been playing a Rogue for quite long time and have been doing everything with them. From soloing elites to running instances that no one else thought about soloing. This will help you understand and focus on key points that make a Rogue a great class to solo with. No more pugs or having to wait for a friend to get on to finish a quest. Just know this is pretty based for quest soloing and not instance soloing but we will hit that a little bit for all you adventurous people.
First and foremost, what you want to do is to understand the Rogue themselves and all their abilities. It becomes easier to make your job by knowing a Rogue and what they can do. In the game, Rogue talent tree is very vast which know what you want to do in turn. Whether you want to Player vs. Player or Player vs. Environment your spec will determine if you will succeed at either. Rogues have all type of damage dealing and avoidance to anything if you plan it right.
Make sure that all your gear is up to date and it also applies to your Rogue. Rogues rely on agility and hit more then anything else. The more agility you have the more you will hurt your opponent as well as dodge their attacks to you. And also with hit will make it easier to acutely kill your opponent with little time instead of missing.
Once you get your agility and hit high enough focus some of stamina. The more health you have the better you are able to survive an encounter.
As long as you have the gear, you can pick out your weapon. We would suggest using swords do the fact that they put out the most damage. There is a talent in your combat talent tree that will grant you an extra attack on your next swing. It don't take a rocket scientist to tell you that the more swings you do the faster you will down your opponent.
You are ready to venture out and crush anyone at hand when you have your mind set right, gear set right and talents set right in your tree. Make sure that you have on you you plenty of health pots and food for after a battle to recover and move on as quickly as possible.
When you get to your opponent make sure you survey your area to watch for patrols or any other people that might join in that you won't be ready for. Depending on who you are fighting depends on what move to open up with. Starting out moves consist of pretty much 2 of them: garrote and cheap shot. There are some opponents that can't be stunned while others are immune to bleed effect. Know thy enemy and proceed with a course of action.
As Rogues, they do certain moves rely on combo points. The more combo points you generate the better your moves and more damage you can cause. If you run into more then 1 opponent rogues have an ability to sap one for duration of 15 sec. which will make it easier on you then havening two people hit you at once.
It ensures that you make use of all your cool-downs if you can during combat. Evasion is a great ability to have if you are fighting a melee opponent and kidney shot is great to use if your opponent can be stunted but you should know this from starting the combat with a starter move. Due to the fact that your agility comes in if you are dodging every move and you are not losing life. Soloing instances has the same principle but make sure you watch the levels of the mobs and try to stay about 5 levels lower then the mobs in there including the bosses.
