Not only will it grant you much wow gold through finishing your daily quest in Northrend but it will grant you lots of reputations as well. We highly recommend that you do your daily quests so that you can build up your reputations with certain factions that are beneficial to your class/spec. Maybe you have less knowledge of this mysterious region in Northrend known as The Storm Peaks, and the facts that are known about it just adds to the area's mystique. Players who want to find out more about the Wrath of the Lich King the Storm Peaks zone will be frustrated by the lack of information about it.
However, we will give a hint about this zone we take on and the things we have found out about it will help you glean a better understanding of the area to prepare you once you have the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King in your possession.
First off, we should start off the Storm Peaks at the Sons of Hodir place. You should grab all of the quests there and then head west to Jormungar cave. Do all of your quests here and make use of QuestHelper add-on if you need additional help on these quests.
Then you can west to the barbarian place and grab that daily quest there called Barbarian Daily. From here, you can either go to the pit or kill the challengers or you can use your bear and kill the barbarians there, it's up to you. After you are done with all the quests at the Sons of Hodir you are pretty much finished with the Storm Peaks area. That is about 12 quests so far (in the Storm Peaks) that you have picked up that you will need to complete.
About the Storm Peaks' past, the Titans once lived in the Storm Peaks according to the legend. Ulduar was the capital which created by them. It also suggested that the powerful Storm Giants, Dwarves and Troggs originated from the Storm Peaks as well. The sudden vanishing of the Titans just added to the Wrath of the Lich King the Storm Peaks zone's allure and mystery. Now, only the stone giants and other ferocious creatures such as Magnataurs and Wendigos live in the Storm Peaks. The Stone Giants are very private, while there is no talking to the wild beasts. Thus, learning more about the Storm Peaks becomes more difficult.
Because of its location, there were lots of things have been found out the Storm Peaks. As a matter of fact, the Storm Peaks are cliffs not mountains. You would have to contend with several forces of nature so as to get to them. The first one is the treacherous and rocky path towards the Storm Peaks. On your way there, you would also be struck by the fierce wind. In fact, the winds at the Wrath of the Lich King the Storm Peaks zone are so strong; they have been known to throw people off the cliffs. Another danger that you can do nothing about is the sunlight that glares off of the ice that covers the cliff. This blinds travelers, making them slip and fall to their death. In the Storm Peaks, weather only serves to worsen the situation. If you travel there in sunlight, you're bound to be blinded by the snow's glare. In rainy weather, the paths are slick and you might fall off. Add to all that the creatures that are far from neutral or friendly, like the wendigo, the storm giant's golems and the magnataurs.
Make sure that you should watch your step all the time when you want to travel to the Storm Peaks zone. Pay more attention to it.
